Game Glide Sponsors Quantico Injured Military Sportsmen Association

We are proud to announce that we have begun to sponsor the Quantico Injured Military Sportsmen Association.  The Quantico Injured Military Sportsmen Association is an approved non-profit, volunteer program that is operated by four retired Marines on Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia.  The program was established to allow combat injured military members undergoing treatment at both Walter Reed and Bethesda military hospitals the opportunity to break away from the mundane hospital life.

Generous donations and assistance from Remington, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Streamlight, Primos, Thompson Center, Ten Point, io Logic, CoTs, Centauri Solutions and others ave provided the essential equipment and acessories to make this possible.  The generosity of skilled volunteers and the donations from the outdoor and private industries have made this program a success.  The ability to utilize Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia and their productive wildlife management program has significantly contributed to the programs successful hunts. Special hunting areas are prepared through a volunteer conservation program and then reserved for this effort to maximize the opportunity for success.

The success and future of this program is solely dependent on the generosity and charitable contributions of time and resources.  If you are interested in supporting this program please contact us.

These wounded veterans have received some publicity from this program by appearing on television and hunting programs.  Hunting Across America, North American Hunter, The Pentagon Channel, and Primos have filmed successful hunts on MCB Quantico.
